Almeria Airport LEI

The airport at Almeria is located just 10 kms (6 miles) east from the city centre in South East Spain, in the province of Almeria. You can find an access sign "Autovia Del Mediterrano" A7 which passes a few kilometres inland.

The Airport at Almeria has excellent service and is modern and well kept, keeping in mind the high tourist volume. It has all the modern security services for its passengers making it a useful and safe airport. Both arrivals and departures at the airport are on the ground floor. You can also view the runway from the terrace built in the airport.

Regular national as well as international flights arrive and leave the airport at regular intervals. There are domestic flights to Barcelona, Melilla, Palma de Mallorca and Madrid. Regular international flights also leave the airport for Munich, London Gatwick and Dusseldorf. Being the second most important airport in Andalucia in terms of foreign tourist arrival, there are frequent charter companies that fly in and out of the Almeria airport.
